Stellartech is in search of an Accountant to join our Finance Team.


  • Project Administration:
    • Setup project folders based on customer purchase orders received
    • Complete Contract Review Records
    • Setup Excel spreadsheets for project tracking
    • Send approved Sales Orders to customers
  • Invoicing and Billing:
    • Utilize Great Plains to manage invoice and billing for Manufacturing and Service
    • Reconcile with Materials Planning and Service on a monthly basis
    • Manage timesheet entries to ensure accurate tracking for project charges
    • Utilize Great Plains to manage invoice and billing for Research and Development
    • Track project expenditures and run reports in MAX to obtain materials charged to projects
    • Prepare preliminary invoices and distribute to project managers for review
    • Retrieve preliminary invoices from project managers; make adjustments and prepare final invoices
    • Prepare schedule to track invoice status; send final invoices to President for signature and send invoices to customers
  • Update standard cost rows as needed
  • Analyze inventory and cost of goods sold
  • Reconcile customer advance accounts to G/L
  • Reconcile all revenue to MAX shipment reports and Great Plains
  • Assist in A/R collection

Skills & Qualifications:

  • AA degree in Accounting or equivalent required; BA degree preferred
  • Minimum of 4-6 years’ relevant experience with contracts, AR, cost accounting, invoicing, billing, and month-end closing
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports
  • Proven computer proficiency with the Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize duties effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
