Service Technician

Stellartech is in search of a Service Technician to join our Service Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform initial inspection of electronic devices
  • Confirm customer complaints and device faults
  • Service and repair finished medical devices and document service results
  • Troubleshoot with the assistance of Quality Service Engineers for root-cause analysis
  • Ensure repair areas are kept neat, clean, and organized
  • Complete all paperwork accurately for each job completed
  • Relay specific problems from a pricing standpoint to Service Coordinator/Manager
  • Meet all set productivity and performance standards; follow proper safety procedures as required

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience troubleshooting medical devices down to the component level
  • Associate’s Degree in Electronic Engineering preferred
  • Ability to work independently and be detail-oriented
  • Familiarity with QSR, FDA regulations, and ISO standards
  • Previous experience using hand and power tools in working with raw materials
  • Possess a strong work ethic, coupled with competencies in customer service, organization, and problem-solving
  • Excellent time-management, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Listens well and retains instructions; accepts constructive feedback from supervisor
  • A track record of being consistent with attendance and prompt arrival at work
  • Have a flexible work schedule
